Jooped

Holy **** I say as I learn that there is a better cheat for Test 5. I'm sorry this is late y'all, but a huge shout-out to Nicole88 who posted on Lostpedia about a much better cheat.

When you get to the Conway sequence question like this:

32 1312 11131112 ______

We get the answer is 31133112, but don't enter this, CLICK! Click 1113112 (3rd one) then 32 (1st) then 32 again (1st) and so forth to make a full 31133112 sequence. A noise sounds and voila, 100% score. You can even skip every question prior to the Conway sequence one, and then every one after it!!!

D'oh!

It didn't work for me. I couldn't get anything to appear when I clicked. Maybe because I am using Firefox?

I use Firefox too and it worked for me. I did enter the correct answer in the box though but instead of pressing enter then clicked in the right sequence the numbers already there, and a noise sounded and I got 100%. I had skipped all the way to number 7 which was this one, and then it missed out all the ones afterwards. I still got 100

it works with firefox, you just have to try it again till it works. This is the cheat that was found yesterday after the test came out

Lisa - I haven't seen this cheat version before, and it hasn't been published on Dark's blog or Lostargs.com - so I don't think the majority of players are aware of it.

it is posted on Darks page here http://lostoctagonglobalrecruiting.blogspot.com/2008/09/test-5-question-and-answer-compilation.html
it takes you to a new page where you can read all about it.

Oh I see! I would have thought there'd be more coverage than one line.

I tried a few times but that question never came up in that form for me. Eventually I got 100% anyway though so I don't really mind.

There are fragments of backward-speak on DWY today... is this new?

Yeah Anna its new. I'm going to blog about it in a couple of hours, however, when the clue has been fully solved (I'd rather recap than issue a load of question marks).

Also I have to do Lostpedia's Sept 22nd post as well - looks like a double post tonight!

Not everyone gets the same Conway sequence - you still have to figure out what your answer should be then click accordingly.
