7 Emmy nominations for Lost!
The nominees for the 60th Primetime Emmy were announced earlier today. Lost got the nod for seven awards -- Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series (Michael Emerson), Outstanding Cinematography For A One-Hour Series, Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing For A Drama Series, Outstanding Music Composition For A Series (Original Dramatic Score), Outstanding Sound Editing For A Series, and Outstanding Sound Mixing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (One-Hour). In addition, Lost: Missing Pieces was also recognized, garnering a nomination for Outstanding Special Class - Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Programs.
Seven nominations for Lost, one for Lost: Missing pieces? Hmm...what does that add to?
Congratulations, Lost and Lost: Missing Pieces!

Awesome! :D Lost deserves to win in all categories.
Foxy gets snubbed again,.... not that michael emerson was anything less than superb in season 4, i just keep waiting for jack to get his due, his crazy weird beard drug-addled due...
I'm not sure, but I think there were 8 nominations...
Matthew Fox's performances have been consistently outstanding and this factor is taken for granted I think. I hope he gets some serious recognition for Jack Shepherd before this series completes itself. That said, I totally agree with Nicholas - Michael Emerson's is an Emmy-worthy performance if ever I saw one.
Amen,... but i have to say,...yet again,....Benjamin Linus Obliterated Season 4, Fox has been consistently great, but Emerson was incendiary! So if one has to win,... for this season(not overall)....sorry jack. But fear not,... If Boston can win the world series....Jack, with a full season of weird beard, and with Ben off the island, permanently.....Foxy, You got it.
Neighbors bring food with death, and flowers with sickness, and little things in between. Boo was our neighbor. He gave us two soap dolls, a broken watch and chain, a knife, and our lives.
I bet they'll give the emmy to Fox when the series is completed much like LOTR swept the Oscars after Return of the King. Everyone knew it was pretty good the whole time, but for whatever reason, the officials waited until the end to give them the awards.
