Smells like TLE spirit

During the broadcast of There Is No Place Like Home Parts 2 & 3, "The DHARMA Initiative" (paid for by ABC, Inc.) broadcast an advert for Octagon Global Recruiting, and the website http://www.octagonglobalrecruiting.com.

The advert asked for volunteers, and advertises the dates 24 - 27 July 2008 in San Diego, California as the date for the first drive.

This co-incides with Comic-Con 2008. It seems that this might be the new ARG, following up from The Lost Experience and Find 815. Only two months till we find out, but its very likely that this will be an ARG designed to fill in some more backstory of the DHARMA Initiative.

Here is the advert again for anyone who missed it:

More importantly, did anyone notice that in the keyboard part of the commercial it is someone "pushing the button" (entering the numbers)

Did anyone catch job occupation "Mini-Bus Driver"? I think it was meant for Hurley, also the octagon could refer to the rings around every Dharma logo, also could there be two more stations? Because an octagon is 8 sided?

So does anyone think this has to do with the Dharma Inititiative taking over the island again if Widmore found it....hence the "dark, bad things" that have happened on the island since the O6 left?

Didn't the last Lost Experience ARG begin BEFORE the comic con??? The characters from the experience showed up to the comiccon in character and continued the experience until the season began, i can only hope it begins SOON!

The surgeon does appear to be Christian Shepher, the woman is working on the Valenzetti equation, and someone is typing the numbers in at the end.

does anyone know what day lost will have their forum at the comic con - the q&a session??

Good catch Donnjo! It appears that the part where someone is typing, that person types in the web adres, but if you look better, the person is entering 8, 15 and 16 :D

And the surgeon does indeed look like a (younger) Christian Shephard. I knew it, I think he is tricking everyone by pretending to be/assist Jacob. He is Jacób's enemy.

But ontopic: I do hope that this is the beginning of an ARG, and not just an announcement for a specific Comic Con happening, which may stand on itself.

@Kody: I think you're right. The producers said season 5 will be the season where we learn much more about Dharma. What if the island was moved back in time to when the DI was active. Now that Ben isn't around, there is no one to initiate the purge. Things will go different and Dharma will grow to be horribly powerfull, abusing the islands abilities (remember that the rest of the Hanso Foundations (aka Evil Inc) project where all bad too? Organ harvesting, that kind of stuff. So maibe now that the DI can reach it's full potential, they will move on from doing silly experiments to seriously harm the island. Maibe this even has consequenses for the rest of the world!

PS: funfact: they even want ichtyologists, which are fish experts :D

It's true that the original Lost Experience began well before its continuation at Comic Con (when Rachel Blake crashed the panel), however, that was with the anticipation of the show coming back that fall. It makes sense to wait a bit and maybe launch one from San Diego because we have a lot more months to play it out afterwards this year than we did in the first one, had it begun that late in the summer of 2006.
