Caught On Camera

Just a quick blog to say that BPM Magazine, who posted some pics of the evening in Hollywood, have since posted a video showing Young Ben talking and giving out the URL to find the Hurley piece. It's all about showing appreciation to the fans!

  1. what an awkward coda to that video... I did enjoy seeing little Ben wearing the shirt with the bullet wound on it though...

  2. So will people drop the idea that this is an ARG or that this is more than meets the eye?

  5. So the question was posed: will people drop the idea that this is an ARG? I think some already have. Others haven't figured out yet that we are supposed to. Still others assume this is supposed to be an ARG, but that it's one that sucks because so far it doesn't really resemble one. It's more like it's pretending to resemble one while simultaneously making fun of ppl expecting one. And for the record, a cellphone video of someone we don't know reading some piece of paper while scores of others are screaming making it impossible to understand what the hell she's saying isn't part of an ARG. It's just plain silly.

  6. someone we don't know?
umm... HE is Sterling Beaumon who played young Ben Linus, complete with blood-stained jacket.

  7. ARG, RG, G, viral marketing, or whatever you want say this is or is not, matters little to me.

It is material/content/activities about my favorite show being provided by TPTB before the final season.

I am participating it in regardless of it's acronym status. If I never find a clue because they are not there, or find and decode them all makes little difference. I would rather play along with Darlton than just keep rehashing the same theories over and over and over again while waiting for the last season to start.

  8. There is no clues. There is no secret message. All we must do is sit and wait for the next painting maybe everyone must buy it before they can move to the next one. Each painting is of a character 15 will be lost the 16th will be found. It is obvious that when we get to the 16th painting we will see who red question mark man is. That is it no clues no getting all excited over a coincidence. They made it easy for us. Let us worry about the bigger picture here like what happened with the bomb. I think that the paintings give clues that point towards the show but not to other websites where we will go running around pulling our hair out. Also I heard this little tid bit I am not saying it is true and the thought of it makes me sick but there is a rumor going around that the 6th season will about be switching back between two different realities, one where the bomb worked and the other where it didn't.

  9. It's funny -- at 2:12, after young Ben leaves the stage, he checks out the girl with the big...islands.

    Dearest Sam McPherson,

One of the more recent messages on the discussion board has announced a Portuguese fan fic contest of sorts for Season 6 hiatus. Unfortunately I and a few other Lostpedia users are not Portuguese nor do we speak the language. And though I would love to learn this lovely language (and it is quite lovely) by the time I mastered it Season 6 would be over and we would be half way through the reality spin off series Jack and Locke plus 8 (I know Kate would have been the obvious choice but I would much rather watch this show). But I digress, I think it would be great if Lostpedia had its own fan fic contest. Hec if the Portuguese can do it why not us. Of course this is up to you Oh great and powerful Administrator. There would be rules of course, such as

No Explicit material (As much as I would like to see the Smoke monster and the Polar Bear get it on it is just not the right time.)

The scripts will follow the same story line (Wouldn't want to see Jack die and then come back to life and then die again, there is already enough of that in the show.)

The scripts will also follow the season 6 rules which means no time travel or flash backs/forwards (This is up to you, I personally think it is better this way but you might enjoy the occasional flash back)
*this also means that the story line of the previous winning script must be followed in the next one.

Lastly, it would be good if we also added the runner ups so people can see some great scripts that just didn't make it.

I don't know if you have already seen this idea or not, I wouldn't be surprised if some one already proposed it. But still keep this into consideration. You can change the rules if you want to they were just a suggestion.

E-mail me back if you like/hate the idea, even if it is just to tell me you would rather shoot yourself than go along with it.

    Yours truly,
    Michael Bardon

  11. Just a heads up, that another video of Sterling Beaumon has appeared on the Hub page at DamonCarltonandaPolarBear and now has an extra couple of frames at the start.

There is a red mark that could be some very fuzzy text, at the end of the first line it looks like a 2, so this might be a possible clue for frame 2.
