Ronie Midfew Arts

I take back that Paul Scheer has an iron fist under his velvet glove - it looks like THESE guys are the iron fists. Even while writing this, one fears a cease and desist order...

Looks like this plot is deep enough to warrant ARG-status after all, if you consider that poor Paul is facing off against an evil art crew against his publishing of LOST works. Their website promises that the August 15th event will not happen. Most interestingly of all, the name Ronie Midfew Arts can be rearranged to say Widmore Fine Arts!!! We have an alternatey reality linky. All LOST-media eyes are now on Damon, Carlton and a Polarbear - there's a sentence you never thought you'd say.

God's speed Paul Scheer, take down those intriguingly titled art elitists! And while we're at it - what does "15 will be lost - the 16th will be found" mean?

  1. I'm betting it means that we will find out the purpose of the website on the 16th, especially since DC&P claims it will release its artwork on midnight the 15th. Just a guess.

  2. It looks like things are getting interesting since http://widmorefinearts.com now has a blog and talks about Uncle Charles...

  5. Ronie Midfew Arts also anagrams to Rewind Time So Far, which seems to be the much-preferred translation. ("Arts" translating to "Arts" seems kind of silly, no?)

  6. This is quite possibly the strangest ARG ever.

  7. I prefer Widmore Fine Arts as an anagram my self. Firstly because Rewind time so far makes very little grammatical sense and secondly its the name of an arts company. What sense would it make to have an arts company called 'rewind time so far'. I'd say the 'rewind' anagrams can be dismissed altogether.

You're right it is fan made and separate from Paul's site and the Midfew site.

It popped up right after Paul posted the Midfew letter that directed us to the Roni Midfew Fine Arts site.

  9. I'm no anagram master, but I was working out an anagram for Ronie Midfew Arts, assuming that "rewind" is in there. I didn't come up with "rewind time so far" but that's good. I came up with "rewind times of Ra," because of the Egyptian influence. That could also be "rewind times of R.A.," namely, Richard Alpert, as in, let's see his backstory. So, if there's any meaning in this stuff, whether you call it an ARG or not, I think it comes from an understanding that we will see Richard Alpert/Ra and his origins.

  10. I completely agree with Brian. Also, maybe every possible anagram can fit in the puzzle, in a way that gives us an insight to S6!
