A new Lost Season 6 promo poster has been seen at Comic-Con 2009! This poster includes all of the main characters from the show (both dead and alive). In the center is John Locke (or Flocke, Mr. X, Esau, Jacob's nemesis, etc.) with his back facing us. I almost passed out when I saw this promo poster; the excitement for Season 6 is killing me!! All of the main characters appearing on the promo for Season 6 could be seen as major foreshadowing for what we will see this upcoming season. This is an awesome, amazing promo poster, and has gotten me more excited about the upcoming season than ever. ReplyDeleteCristiano, what do you mean downgraded to guest stars? They were credited as regulars and nothing can change that. Walt was a guest star from season 3 on but Nikki & Paulo were always regulars throughout their run. It's literally impossible to downgrade them.
ReplyDeleteAnd these aren't main characters, this is just a collection of all the cast, since it includes for sure Rose & Bernard, whose story is pretty much over.
Just a joke. I mean, ABC did not find them important enough to appear in the poster.

ReplyDeleteBy the way, I know this is a really random place to write this but I was rewatching Adrift a couple weeks ago and my sister noticed a Dharma logo on the shark. I don't know how she saw that; I had to freeze frame it. But then Dameon made a joke about Dharma Sharks at Comicon. Was it just a subliminal message or did they, like, brand sharks or something? :) Cause I would think they'd all be dead right now.
But I found it is more interesting that John Locke is the only one among the cast not showing us his front view...!

ReplyDelete- Half of the main characters are dead, but they're still here. So is Locke, but his body still acts and moves as if alive (because of Esau), and because Esau is bad - apparently - and has a different agenda/focus he's facing the other way. That's only the BODY of Locke.
The person to the right of him IS Ben.
I hope Nikki and Paulo will not be returning in season 6. It seems like they were just stuffed into a couple episodes so the writers could do Exposé, the worst episode I have ever seen.

This seems pretty accurate, considering the only main characters not there are Nikki, Paulo and Libby(darn it). Everyone hated Nikki/Paulo so there is no chance in heck they will be back, and both the actress who play Libby and the producers have confirmed that they are done with Libby.

ReplyDeleteI would disagree with Charlotte: I don't think we NEED to learn more about her. I'm fine with her dead. We would only need her to be alive if she were significant to the plot and/or "mysteries of the universe" and I don't think she is. It seems the big reveal was that she was born on the island. If I were the writers, I wouldn't waste precious final season time on her.
Also, I don't think she was a very endearing character. Of course, this is just my opinion.
I would go further and say that I am happy that Charlotte is gone; she was always didn't do very much, and was a bit of a nothing character. I think that Lost has had a bit of a problem developing diverse female characters. Like Charlotte, some of them seem like they have just been put in to serve one purpose and then they are done. I'm thinking Libby, Shannon, Charlotte, and even to some extent Kate. I've plagued the comment area with my thoughts on Kate's repetative story and general boringness. Moving on.
ReplyDeleteI would also say that the poster is more of a complete cast for the show overall rather than anything particular for season 6. There is no way that the dead characters will come back, and if they do, I'm sure that everyone will be disappointed. Most of them were good characters but they ran their course.
Brian, I do agree with Nick! We have SO MUCH to learn with Charlotte. And she and Dan must end up together =).
ReplyDeleteEvery character is there for a reason. We did'nt know about Charlotte as we know about Dan, Miles, even Ana Lucia, Libby and Eko.
For the same reason, I think the girl is Penny, not Libby. (But I do not say it's impossible for her to appear on the 6th season.
will there be any events/parties on Oahu for the series finale? Will it be in May? Does anyone know anything about that? I would like to try to go to some of them.

If you really pay attention to the series and the season 5 finale and the two fake commercials from comic-con you can figure out why this picture has who it has.
Now here is the question - assuming the bomb stopped the plane from crashing bringing the dead back to life - what does that mean for Locke and the fake Locke?
