On my waiver, the two interviewers scrawled a P with a circle (presumably for a passing score), there were some other numbers and letters on my waiver. I didn't have the good sense to take a picture of their notations, sorry gang.

I got the impression that the 2 interviewees were actually casting directors, and they were looking for specific reactions to questions. My sense is that the videos will be used for some sort of new programming or lost-related game.

Interesting to note that the handouts advertising the Dharma Initiative interviews had a Swan origami puzzle on the back.Unholy Arthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01400502878659297358noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4920393039273628205.post-13296315759684102872008-07-27T14:48:00.000-04:002008-07-27T14:48:00.000-04:00You're right about the Blade Runner thing. Why not?"

I answered "It's not my problem" and, yes, passed. :)Daniel Wallacehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17316805109286834493noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4920393039273628205.post-32967927878254140782008-07-27T13:33:00.000-04:002008-07-27T13:33:00.000-04:00Anybody notice that the question about taking away...Anybody notice that the question about taking away a child's favorite toy is similar to the line of questioning used in the tests given to would-be Replicants in the movie Blade Runner? Questions involved giving participants hypothetical situations in which they did something cruel, and then asking why they would do such a thing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4920393039273628205.post-7297355895506739222008-07-26T03:12:00.000-04:002008-07-26T03:12:00.000-04:00Yes, the tests are named after the moons of Jupite...Yes, the tests are named after the moons of Jupiter. (I took Ganymede.) There were two people with me in the booth, and they appeared to be videotaping my test. I was all kinds of happy because I passed... but I didn't see if anyone actually failed.

After I registered for my "test" in the morning, they gave me a form which gathered my email and cell phone number, and asked whether I was planning to attend the LOST panel at Comic-Con tomorrow. (Of course, I wouldn't miss it.) The form also included a (real) photo waiver form to sign, so ABC can use my image "throughout the universe in perpetuity" for free. They told us to bring our Dharma cards with us to the panel, and that we "may or may not" be asked to do something with them at that time.

Great fun. Can't wait to see what happens tomorrow!Adam J. I left home early (I live about 90 minutes north of SD) that morning to be sure that I'd make it for an appointment. But there was some huge car crash (no fatalities reported) earlier in the morning which had traffic backed up nearly 20 miles. I didn't make it to San Diego until around 1:30, and by that time, all Thursday appointments were booked. I guess it's no SO bad, since I wouldn't have been able to see the Lost panel on Saturday anyway.

Funny sidenote, Michael C. Hall (plays Dexter on Showtime) and the screenwriter of Red Sonja (among many others) were also stuck in the trafficUnknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00460098079586807952noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4920393039273628205.post-44999127566328787682008-07-25T18:56:00.000-04:002008-07-25T18:56:00.000-04:00so cool >_< i wish i could go to Comic COn! ...so cool >_< i wish i could go to Comic COn! Not sure if that matters, but there was a "meterological" station listed on the blast door map, right? The moon, is, of course named for the Greek goddess mentioned above. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4920393039273628205.post-81193992332436734112008-07-25T03:19:00.000-04:002008-07-25T03:19:00.000-04:00One thing I noticed that no one else seems to have...One thing I noticed that no one else seems to have mentioned. Diggler on the forums said he took the test called Io; Io is also the name of a woman that Zeus fell in love with. Long story short, he turned her into a cow to protect her from Hera, but it didn't work well and a few years later Zeus fixed it. I only mention this because "Europa" has a similar story. I wonder if there's a conection and if all the names are people Zeus fell in love with.Tom Brounsteinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13029993196228372565noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4920393039273628205.post-73335032979864750742008-07-24T19:44:00.000-04:002008-07-24T19:44:00.000-04:00Simply awesome!!!Simply awesome!!!Captain Sonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11282535141954889775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4920393039273628205.post-53228113159963355942008-07-24T15:24:00.000-04:002008-07-24T15:24:00.000-04:00It's interesting...Rachel Blake said that DHARMA h...It's interesting...
Rachel Blake said that DHARMA had vanished completely as a coherent project.
