Go there and you see a very nice Locke-inspired poster. If you want it, snap it up quick!
Other weird things - first DCPB has an odd pic from the skateboard, which just looks like wood grooves but kinda looks like a map. Furthermore, LostARGs have reported that there were other shout-outs to LOST in Boston, including T-shirts for Canton-Rainier Carpet Cleaning (seen in Season 5) and also a poster around for Build Your World (the charity Sayid worked with when Ben found him in S5). Probably just tidbits, but very cool. The map could be more though... might our next frame be overseas (please say it's so!)
Did you notice the number 42 is on that weird picture/map looking thing on the skateboard??
ReplyDeleteI've loved all the previous ARGS - I even stuck it all the way through with that wacky one from last year - but this one has been overwhelming and a bit complicated. Is this an ARG or just some fun stuff they're putting all over the web?
ReplyDeleteThis Locke poster was too great to resist, so I ordered one. I hope the next 14 don't tempt me too much...
ReplyDeleteI saw the 42 in the island that looks like Uk!!!, but I couldnt find any other numbers...
ReplyDeleteIm pretty sure that they are like groups of islands from the pacific ocean or sth like that... gonna go check a map!!!
What is the dharma logo at the bottom right corner of the poster?
ReplyDeleteI dig the poster. If I had $50 extra in my pocket... well, I don't know. I like the concentric rings around the wheelchair. They remind me of Vertigo, when Jimmy Stewart is falling. Of course, Locke's fall led him to the wheelchair.
ReplyDeleteThe more I see this, the more I doubt that it's an ARG, but rather a tribute to the show and the fans. That's fine, so long as the Lost road show comes to Seattle.
I noticed the number 42 on the skateboard map. I also noticed that on the Locke poster, there is smaller text just above and in between the larger text about 'a deceitful father' etc. Maybe the smaller text is a clue.
ReplyDeleteI live in Boston, and must say this little event kinda sucked compared to the all night rave LA was treated to.
ReplyDeleteOf course I didn't go to it today, as it is a weekday and it was at 10 in the morning. So yeah, that was the part that sucked. I hope the next destination has a better program than what we got up here!
I think there are other numers inside the same "island". Isn't it a 10 (or a 16) that engraving in the northeast of the island?
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know where or when we can see the other posters? This one is great!
ReplyDeleteThe small text above "A deceitful father" is "Featuring" and the small text above "A suitcase full of knives" is "And"
ReplyDeleteThey aren't clues.
i may just be posting the obvious, but "15 lost, 16th found"? there are fifteen frames with grey question marks and the sixteenth has a creepy red one in it
ReplyDeleteDarn! I was really tempted by this one, but it's sold out already.
ReplyDeleteAh well, $50 I didn't need to spend, but still. . .
I'm guessing the 16th poster will be revealed on the day or eve of the Season 6 premiere - "Destiny Found" is the tagline for the last season, right?
ReplyDeleteWe know the marketing will continue over the next four-plus months. ABC is simply milking the cash cow before it's put out to pasture next year.
IM NOT SURE WHAT THIS PIC IS FOR JUST STUMBLED ON IT BUT THERE ARE 16 FOOTSTEPS FROM THE WHEELCHAIR
ReplyDelete16 footprints! Great spot! There are about 16 concentric circles, counting from the lower right corner to the center of the wheelchair. Those things, plus the Dharma/donkey wheel-looking wheels and spokes, well, it's brilliant.
ReplyDeletemy hi-res shots of this poster are available here:
